Recent technical development at Amwest Technology Company has established
an environmentally benign and efficient synthetic method for the production of
hydrated boron phosphate. The characteristics of this product include high purity
(>99%) and even crystalline shapes. Boron phosphate trihydrate is an additive of
composite materials, a low cost and effective non-halide fire retardant, as well as a
fertilizer (US 3655357). The addition of boron phosphate trihydrate reduces its
current internal price to a fraction.
